when working in health care college will never truly prepare you for the absolute psychological horror of people actually knowingly lying to your face and people lying to you unknowingly and the difference and figuring out how to tell the difference and how to deal with it. like you just gotta do it.

First Day Of School
The discussion was brought up by Nathaniel who was already excited for when his niece finally had her first day of school. Granted, it was a while off, he was stoked to get the opportunity to be a cool uncle sending her off with a look of pride.
“Sometimes first days of school aren’t that great,” Scout noted.
“Awe, I thought you liked school,” Orion frowned.
“I do,” Scout admitted, “but my first day was a bad day.”
“What’d you do? Eat glue?” Penny asked, earning a glare from the book worm.
“No,” Scout shook his head, “I missed the bus and had to ride on Uncle Steve’s motorcycle to school. It messed up my hair so I looked like Albert Einstein which the other kids found funny. I wasn’t allowed in the book section without supervision, and then they refused to let me have peanut butter on my celery sticks because of nut alergies. I asked if anyone had nut alergies -they didn’t. Then I had to sit in the corner for being smart with the teacher. And because I wasn’t used to getting in trouble I cried which made the other kids laugh so I cried more.”
“Awe,” Orion pouted, “that actually does suck. Earth education is stupid.”
“Well what was space education like?” Penny asked out of curiosity.
“My first day of school entailed a nice relaxing space ship ride to the campus. There, we played hover hockey which is basically hover ball soccer. We had about two hours of play time a day and even in class it was fun. There were lots of hands on activities. Music was the best though,” Orion grinned.
“Shit, can I have that?” Penny asked.
“What about you? How was your first day?” Orion arched a brow.
“Well, I didn’t know I was dyslexic or that I had ADHD and neither did my parents,” Penny frowned, “so the teacher got pissed over my inability to sit still and not being able to find the desk with my name on it. I mean, I couldn’t really read, none of us could, but most kids could at least recognize their names. Anyways, my day was redeemed when I got to crack into the legos and build a full on replica of a double helix.”
“How does one do that?” Nathaniel snorted.
“With care,” Penny grinned. “Hey Arthur?!”
“Hmm?” The boy asked poking his head out from the kitchen.
“What was your and Chloe’s first day of school?”
“Oh,” Arthur smiled thinly as he made his way to the couch. “We cried our eyes out. The school thought it was best to separate us earlier rather than later. Chloe was absolutely pissed and threw such a large tantrum they had to call our mom to pick her up. “
“That’s actually adorable!” Penny gushed.
“They then moved her back into my class once mom took her to lunch and got her calmed down. Then she pretty much stayed by me and insisted no one mess with her sibling,” Arthur grinned. “I was just shy and nervous. I didn’t really interact with anyone and just hung out with her.”
“Seems stupid they’d seperate you,” Nathaniel shook his head.
“What about you though?” Penny asked looking accusingly at Nathaniel, “you have yet to tell us.”
“My first day of school included me throwing things all over the room from pencils to paper and trying to make baskets or hit fake targets. The principal had to have a talk with my dad because they considered me a threat to the other kids,” Nathaniel laughed. “It was great!”
“What about the others?”
“Why don’t we ask them?” Nathaniel smirked. With that in mind he and the others went knocking on everyone’s door. Curiosity had clearly won over and the stories were too good not to share.
“My first day of school....”James frowned tapping at his chin, “oh I remember now. Well, I got in trouble for climbing on things. I managed to get on top of a filing cabinet. Then, my teacher took issue with me sharpening my carrots with my teeth to make spear heads.”
“You did what?” Orion stammered.
“Hey, my mother thought it was funny,” James shrugged.
“That’s honestly hysterical,” Penny snickered. “What’d they do after that?”
“Essentially kicked me out,” James grinned slyly, “so I got extra summer vacation.”
“You sly dog,” Orion chuckled.
“Hey, just ask Alex what happened with her it’s even better,” James promised.
So they asked her.
“I dropped a set of scissors and I got worried that I’d lose them. When I couldn’t find them I may have picked up the desk with one hand and then managed to collect the scissors with my other. My teacher nearly had a heart attack,” Alex blushed.
“That’s amazing!” Sage cackled, “I would pay to see the look on your teacher’s face!”
“Well I didn’t know what I was doing,” Alex stammered, “I was little and I just wanted to make a picture during craft time.”
“It’s okay,” Sage laughed wiping at her tear filled eyes.
“What about you? You can’t make fun of me if you don’t share your first day,” Alex pouted.
“My first day was what you’d expect from me,” Sage smirked getting a gleam in her eyes, “I caught a lizard on the playground and set it loose in class. I named it Steve. They never found him. Then during lunch I used the spoon for my yougurt to launch raisins at kids. I also pulled a kids pants down after he said I was stupid for thinkig girls could throw. My mom was very unamused at first but when we got in the car she laughed. The school didn’t let me go back.”
“You named a lizard after my dad?” Alex snorted.
“I didn’t even know your dad at the time,” Sage rolled her eyes, “but it seemed fitting.”
“Are you saying my dad is scaly?”
“I mean,” Sage shrugged, “he could be I don’t know.”
“Shut up,” Alex laughed rolling back onto her bed.
“So, nothing about you has changed at all has it?” Arthur asked.
“No, not really.”
After a small lunch break, Nathaniel and his little gang moved on to Siyanda eager to see what the princess’ first day was like.
“I only growled like a cat at people because I didn’t want to be friends with anyone since they annoyed me. I also only ate sitting on the floor. I essentially made myself seem so weird no one wanted to talk to me just so I didn’t have to put up with other people. My parents were mortified,” she explained.
“The amount of commitment,” Scout whistled, “I should take notes.”
“Please don’t start growling like a giant cat,” Orion whined.
“It’s a joke,” Scout assured him.
The next story they heard was that of Fox’s. She showed up with miss matched socks, an inside out shirt, and syrup from waffles on her cheeks. She intimidated the other kids too much for them to actually talk to her and even the teachers weren’t sure what to make of her. While she seemed rather free spirited due to the interesting fashion choices, her eyes could kill.
Enzo, on the other hand, was extremely personable and nearly everyone liked him right away. The only ridiculous thing that happened was him trying to eat the macaroni for the macaroni necklaces his class was making. Apparently it doesn’t taste good.
As for Piper, she had to endure a bunch of odd looks and rapid fire questions. She came home and passed out asleep on the couch from sheer mental exhaustion. After that, Tony put her in a smaller, less overwhelming school.
“I guess as kids with super parents we just have really weird first days,” Penny decided.
“Thankfully Ellie has two very normal parents,” Nathaniel sighed.
“Yeah, but a weird ass uncle,” Arthur teased.
“Oh ha ha,” Nathaniel joked, snaking his arm around Arthur’s shoulders and giving him a good knuckle sandwich. “You remember that this weird uncle is still super cool.”
“Okay, Okay!” Arthur laughed, dropping to his knees to escape the assault. He laid their gasping for air while Nathaniel grinned like a cat.
“I love this family,” Penny sighed.

Hi. It's weird writing here, but I just wanted to let it all out. I don't really have anyone to talk to. Apparently writing down heavy stuff helps a bit so here goes. Exactly a year ago everything went to shit for me starting with job problems as I wasn't sure if the company was gonna extend my contract and ending with relations with my family.
As you can guess, the company I was working for for almost a year didn't extend my contract and with the end of February 2017 I was left without a job and any income. That's also when I booked my plane tickets to Finland for the first time. January was also a month where relations with my brother went totally to shit. By that I mean we stopped talking, because at this point everyone tried to stop me from going to Finland including my mother and sister as well. With my brother however it's kinda different, because while sister was being weird for years and we didn't really talk much, with him we had really good realtions. But then when one time I just said I won't talk to him about my leave to Finland, because even thought about it was giving me serious panic attacks he just said: Congratulations on knowing everything, have a high five with your sister. Now, you have to understand, that talk with my brother is basically him talking for 90% of the time and rest is just you not knowing what to answer. Then few days later he showed up in my room and I was afraid what it was about. He and his wife bought me really expensive phone few months back and they both agreed that it's as a birthday present. So what e had to say was me giving like 100 zl every month for a phone. I wasn't even thinking when I said: just give me your account number, I'll give you the whole money back. And that was it. He sent me the number via text and I gave them back the whole 2500 zl. We didn't really talk since then, but then in July he came up to me asking to go with them for a week to Greece, cause they already booked everything, but his wife was having problems. By problems I mean they're getting divorce now. It was more about him not having anyone with proper english outside the country and since I have weak heart I agreed, which I regreted a lot. One time I left our room yelling. Let's leave it here. We haven't talked since then again. Now going back to 2017 before my leave to Finland, my mother was worried, which is totally understandable. So what she did, she told my sister and what my sister did was to come to me with so called "letter" and made me read it in front of her. I obviously ended up with another panic attack after that one hour cause that's how long she was there in my room. The letter was just stuff she found on the internet and printed. What was there as you can imagine was the worst stuff that can happen to yuo if you leave to another country. I won't talk much about it, cause it makes me uneasy as fuck. Anyway I was left broken and anxious to the point where I wanted to hurt myself just to stop the feeling. Two people knew about this and it was obviously my boyfriend who quickly text our best friend and they both talked me out of this. Just imagine me crying in bed with phone in my hand. Cause that's how it was. Our friend told me to write a letter, which I did where I tried explain all my emotions. Our brains are fucked up tools and most of the things we write down or text we wouldn't be able to say out loud. So I wrote that thing and when I had a chance I left it on my mother's desk. That day she showed up in my room and just kissed my head, then left. It helped a bit. Writing that thing. Anyway, with the end of april in 2017 I left to Finland to meet my boyfriend for the first time. It was amazing week. There are no words I could use to describe how it was. But that was when I felt alive. Really alive and happy. But its not what this post is about. Going back was hard. Harder than I thouth it would be. And right after that my mother "wanted to talk". You know how by the tone of someone's voice you're able to tell if it's good or bad... it was bad. So this talk was to inform me, that my parents decided to charge me a certain amount of money every month for living with them. So paying a rent basically. And it's totally fine as I was reading later on the internet. But don't get me wrong, I just came back from Finland leaving my boyfriend for fuck knows how long not to mention I don't have a job yet. I was on call with him as she asked me downstairs so when I came back he was already freaking out and then he heard me crying. With my anxiety I'm really picky when it comes to finding a job, because I'm scared of people. After a month I managed to get a job in a small shop few kilometers outside my city, because I thought it would be okay. It wasn't. I left after month. By then I wasn't paying my mother anything, because I was still hoping she didn't mean it, but then one day she said: it's been two months and you still haven't payed. I just looked at her and said: aight, I hope you'll sleep better with it. I think me deleting her from contacts on skype gave her something to think about because one day I came back home and there was a short letter on my desk with a question: why you hate me so much. Please, let's talk. So next day we had our first talk in months, where I said what I thought was wrong. She was always telling me that people have different problems and for others those problems might not seem like a big deal, but for others it's a life or death. So in this talk, she reffered to my problems as "only". I said what I had to say to her and ended the whole conversation with info of me leaving to Finland at some point. We don't really talk. From the whole rent thing I said I will be paying her half of it and she agreed. At the beginning on July when I came back from Greece I started working in chineese shop right next to my parents place. Since they hired me I wasn't complaining, but it wasn't worth it at all. Working 10 hours per day, 184 hours a month, no matter what month that was. I caught some alergy while working there and currently I'm trying to get an appointement to do a tests. 2017 was a year where my health started to getting worse. Not really the "I caught a cold" kind of worse. I mean the kid of problems you get when you're in a huge stress 24/7. For me it was stomach problems. Since I was afraid to leave my room to eat anything I could go for 4 days without eating anything. When I was finally eating, it was shit. For now, I think it's okay, tho I still have serious stomach troubles whenever I'm in stress. So I worked in that shop for 7 months, left with the end of December. 2 weeks ago I came back from Finalnd again, but this time it was better. We decided with my boyfriend, that in June or if something goes wrong in July I leave to Finland. I hope for good. Now I'm trying to get a job in a small boutique in shopping center in my town, I think I'm getting there, tho it's still not 100% sure. But it'll do for those few months where in a meantime I'll get all formalities done. The only person I'll miss is my dad. He was the nly one supporting me in his own way, he was the only one to notice that I wasn't eating.
But then again, I'm turning 25 in few days and I'm tired of life like I'm 40 or something. Anyway, I learned a lot in 2017, not in a good way, it made me who I am now, but I’m hoping that this year will be better. Mostly because after meeting my boyfriend’s mom and step dad I know I’ll have all the support I need there. Since my sight got much worse his mom got an appointement for me to check the eyesight and to get me glasses. I’m not saying anything, but this saved me a lot of money, since no one here would be willing to do that for me.
I don’t think I’ll be posting here again, but I won’t delete that blog, cause sometimes I just come here and scroll to see wtf is happening here. I’ll post some pics from my last visit in Finland and for some reason posting my face doesn’t seem like a big deal like it used to so I’d call that a progress.

You know what they say. Once you write fic you're in too deep. "You did what?!" Lucien didn't know if he should laugh or scream at the boy infront of him. The other boy glared, "You heared me." He said and Lucien couldn't help cracking a smile, "Okay," he said, "You got yourself a tatt by some shabby person instead of asking me where you can get one made properly, am I getting this right?" Ernest avoided eye contact, but nods, a clear pout on his face. "And now you are worried it might have caught an infection." Lucien continued, Ernest still was avoiding his gaze, " And you want me to look at it because you don't want your dad to know." Ernest didn't response and it took Lucien's entire will power to not end up laughing at- or hitting the boy . "Honestly, you are such an idiot." Ernest glared at him but didn't reply, which surprised him honestly, normally Ernest would jump on the chance to have a argument with him. Lucien reflected on the last couple of days and now that he thought about it, the other boy has been acting rather jumpy lately. How long has he been in pain he wondered. "Dude, seriously. Just tell your Dad and go to a doctor." Ernest looked actually paniced now, "Please you can't tell him! If he finds out he will think I'm irresponsible!" Lucien just stared for a moment in silence, wondering, as he does so often, if this boy lives in another realm of reality or if he truly could be that stupid. "You are. I got my tatt from Kyle, his dad's doing this shit professionally and he has done it for half the school, he knows his shit." His dad still scolded him about having it done by a teenager instead of consulting him and having a professional do the job, but really, he isn't as stupid as to let a stranger who does tattoos for minors lay hands on him. Ernest apparently was though. "Please Lucien! If he finds out he might take away Dutches!" Lucien paused, Ernest loves that dog, anybody could tell that losing her would completely destroy him. Lucien himself couldn't form a attachment to the dog, his alergies preventing him from truly getting close to her. But he knew Ernest was a lot less irritating due to her and quiet a bit happier. Lucien hesitated a bit longer before finally giving in. He knew he would regret this later on but whatever. "Okay gee, just show it to me already." He said and the other boy suddenly turned a interesting shade of red. "Um you know, on second thought..." he trailed of and Lucien seriously was losing his patience. Lucien grabed the bottom of his friends hoodie and forcefully took it off, ignoring his friend's complaints. He turned Ernest around, looking at the other teen's right shoulder where the tattoo was located, Ernest has been avoiding contact with that site the last few days. He stared at it for a long while, feeling quiet a bit dumbfounded by the image on Ernest's back. It was a heart with a banner which said "DAD" in bold letters. "Not. A. Word." Was hissed out by Ernest who Lucien could tell must be feeling fairly embarrassed. Lucien bit back any comment he could have made, knowing it probably would earn him a bloody nose again. To be honest he actually found this tattoo kind of endearing, almost cute even. Not that he would ever tell Ernest that. "When did you have this thing done?" He asked, looking at the red swollen edges. "A week ago." "And it still hurts?" "Would we be here if it didn't?!" Lucien stayed silent, he tried to remember what Cassie, one of his friends, did when her tattoo got an infection. If he was right she put some special cream on it and cleaned it a lot? He probably should look that up....or drag Ernest to a doctor. "Why did you got that thing in the first place?" He asked, he actually was curious, Ernest never showed any particular interest in them after all and Lucien really had a hard time wraping his head around this entire ordeal. Ernest grumbled something under his breath, "What?" Lucien asked and Ernest, rather reluctantly, repeated what he said. "I tried to impress someone." Oh. Lucien wouldn't lie, that did feel like a punch in the gut. He and Ernest have known eachother since kindergarten and his crush on the other boy has been a on and off thing that never really went away fully. That was the first time he heared Ernest talk about liking somebody, normally he would keep stuff like that to himself. He is very bad with feelings after all. "Please say something, this is getting too awkward." Ernest spoke up again. "O-oh. Yeah. Um. I'm pretty sure it's infected." The other boy let out a groan, Lucien sighed. "Why this tattoo?" He asked, Ernest's relationship with his father was complicated, he loved him, sure, but he wasn't one to voice it or show it a lot. "I wanted the name of the person I wanted to impress on it first but then I realized if he rejects me I would run around with a reminder of my first heartbreak for the rest of my life." Lucien frowned. "Your first?! Like ever?!" He asked, shocked by this new revelation, "Dude, don't tell me that's your first crush." The other boy didn't reply and now it really stung. He ignored the unreasonable feeling of envy he had for that person he didn't even know and pat around the swollen red edges of Ernest's tattoo, that caused him a gasp of pain. Yup, this thing was infected alright. "Do you have a fever?" He asked, "Huh?!" Lucien shaked his head as he reached for Ernest's forhead. It didn't feel particularly warm. Good, it wasn't a dangerous infection...yet, he thinks at least. "Was it at least effective?" He asked, wanting and at the same time not wanting to know the answer to that question. "H-he didn't seem very impressed by it." Ernest admitted dejectedly. Lucien felt guilty about being happy over that information, he really did, but it wasn't like he could help how he feels, he probably wouldn't feel so awful if he could. After a few more seconds of examining the Tattoo Lucien let out a sigh. He steped away from his friend, "This thing is infected for sure." He declared and Ernest let out a noice that came close between a groan and a kicked puppy. It was kinda adorable. "I will talk to my dad. He will tell your dad to chill and make sure you guys keep the Dutches. Put your hoody back on we are going to a doctor." Lucien reasured him. "Really?" Ernest looked hopeful. "Yeah. Even if he fails, I'm sure we can mobilize the other kids to overthrow the adult authority and crown the Dutches as the new ruler of Maple Bay." That earned him a laugh, "Amanda would be proud." Ernest played along. Lucien smiles, "That's one of the best compliments one can rescive." With that they exited the basement together, "Next time you want to impress someone," Lucien said, "Try stuff like flowers first."
